Vikki Delgado believes in the power of education and has made it her life’s work.  She holds two undergraduate degrees from the University of Miami in music and education and a master’s degree from Nova Southeastern University in Educational Leadership. She began her professional career as a music therapist in Miami, working with children and adults in residential treatment centers. Later her work as a middle school teacher in the Miami public school system helped form her educational philosophy solidifying the importance of educating the whole child – body, mind, and spirit. She served 20 years in the Diocese of Palm Beach as an educator and later as a Principal at St. Vincent Ferrer School. She volunteers for Catholic Charities, the Delray Beach Education Board, and as a Master Gardener in the greater community. As a member of the Human Trafficking Coalition Education Committee, she promotes awareness through presentations and outreach to schools and businesses.
